Academic Master's Program

The Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program (Master´s and Doctorate) in Bioethics, Applied Ethics, and Public Health, a partnership between UFRJ, Fiocruz, UERJ, and UFF, aims to foster the academic development of Bioethics and Research Ethics.

The program is characterized by shared responsibilities and contributions from all participating institutions. This formal association is structured through specific regulations, institutional commitments, and a coordinated operational framework. Key features include administrative infrastructure, research and teaching logistics, and academic facilities that support PPGBIOS.

The objective of the Master´s Degree is to prepare professionals from various fields for teaching in Bioethics and Applied Ethics, as well as to identify research questions in Health Ethics and Research Ethics, utilizing appropriate methods in line with Bioethics' methodological toolbox.
