The Postgraduate Program Committee (CPG) is a deliberative body that meets ordinarily once a month and, extraordinarily, according to the need of the Commission. The Program Coordinator and Assistant Coordinators of the Academic Program and the Professional Master's Program participate in the Commission; The Area Program Coordinators; Three representatives of teachers elected from among the peers; And three student representatives (one from the Academic Master's, one from the Academic Doctorate and one from the Professional Master's Degree).
These are the competences of CPG:
I. To approve the curricular structure of the courses of Academic Masters, Professional Masters and Doctorate offered by the Program;
II. Approve the pedagogical proposal of the new masters courses (academic and professional) and doctorate;
III. To deliberate on the accreditation parameters of teachers, present them to the Doctoral Plenary and send the General Postgraduate Committee;
IV. Define and approve the budget proposal of the Program and the criteria for allocation of resources;
V. Define strategies to support scientific production and dissemination;
SAW. To subsidize the coordination of the course in questions related to the enrollment, exemption of disciplines, transfer, use and recognition of credits;
VII. To establish criteria to be applied in the constitution of examining commissions for the selection and qualification processes, as well as for the defense of master's dissertation and doctoral thesis;
VIII. Establish procedures to ensure the effective academic orientation of the graduate student;
IX. Define criteria for the allocation of scholarships and the follow-up of the performance of fellows;
X. To collaborate, in consonance with the other instances involved in the program, in the initiatives of improvement, monitoring and evaluation of the research and production of the Postgraduate Program;
XI. Appreciate and approve changes in the structure of the Program (such as the creation, extinction or merger of areas of concentration) as well as in the regiment;
XII. Convene the holding of the Plenary of Doctors;
XIII. Collaborate in the preparation of the annual activity report of the Program and in the evaluation report of CAPES;
XIV. Decide on representations, resources and ethical issues addressed to you.
