Distance Education (EAD) at ENSP
The Distance Education (EAD) of the National School of Public Health Sergio Arouca (ENSP) is a strategic initiative for training of health professionals that is integrated to their work process. It aims to build and consolidate an even more productive Unified Health System in social equity and health quality. The students of the programs and courses of EAD build their knowledge by:
- studying in adequate place and time;
- using proper educational material – printed, video, audio, CD-ROM;
- counting with the partnership of the tutor, with whom they interact by a focal educative action;
- interacting with a virtual community via chat, forum, discussion list and library;
- monitoring the indicators of their evaluation through an academic management environment.
