Interdisciplinarity in Public Health
Aims to promote academic training, knowledge production, and interdisciplinary action focused on contemporary issues in the field of Public Health, based on the theoretical and methodological frameworks of social and human sciences.
It is structured around five research Lines:
- Violence and Health
- Gender, Race, Ethnicity, and Health Inequalities
- Human Rights and Health
- Socio-environmental Determinants, Territory, Critical Epistemologies, and Evaluation
- Health, Work, and Environment
Policies, Planning, Management, and Healthcare
Aims to train professors, researchers, and professionals to engage in teaching and research activities in health, with the ability to critically analyze and evaluate policies, systems, programs, services, and health technologies at national and international levels. It also focuses on developing intervention strategies and supporting discussions on healthcare models. This area is organized into three key axes: (1) State, Public Policies, and Health; (2) Planning, Management, and Evaluation in Health; (3) Organization of Healthcare and Health Practices.
