About the Master's Program
The Professional Master's Degree began in 2002 with the objective of deepening technical-scientific knowledge in public health, as well as developing skills for the creation of processes, products, and technologies in specific areas of public health. The variety of available courses reflects the breadth of the Professional Master's Degree, including: Primary Health Care; Health Evaluation; Policy and Management of Science, Technology, and Innovation in Health; Human Rights; Occupational Health Surveillance; Development and Public Policies; Sanitation and Environmental Health; and Management of Health Systems and Services, among others.
The Professional Master's Degree in Public Health trains highly qualified professionals in an interdisciplinary perspective. It aims to develop professionals and leaders committed to improvements in public health, research development, and technological advancements for effective interventions, as well as proposing innovative strategies to tackle public health challenges. The goal is to prepare professionals capable of promoting significant advancements in public health and social well-being.
